Are My Awning Repairs Covered by the Warranty?
All of our residential and commercial awnings are covered by a five-year limited warranty. Whether your awning repairs are covered by the warranty depends on the nature of the damage to your awning and how it was caused.
Examples of damage covered by the warranty are: a stitching failure, a weld failure, and wear holes which developed in the canvas that are not caused by improper care, storage, or use.
The warranty does not cover damage created by injury to the stitching, material, skin, or frame. Examples include but are not limited to:
- Damage caused by storms
- Improper use
- Rodents or pests
- Accidents, such as paint dripping on the canvas while your building is being remodeled
- Improper care, including power washing
- Failure to clean the awning
- Unauthorized modification or repair
- Normal wear and tear
- Damages caused by using the product while it’s broken
